Food For The Poor's Boca Raton Gala to Rebuild Haiti

Proceeds from Food For The Poor's New Hope, New Beginnings gala at the Boca West Country Club on Saturday, Feb. 6, will go directly to meet the dire housing needs of Haiti's earthquake victims.

Angel Aloma, Food For The Poor's Executive Director, and Calvin Hughes, master of ceremonies for New Hope, New Beginnings, will share stories from their personal journeys to Haiti immediately following the devastating earthquake. Hughes, an Emmy Award-winning newscaster, has traveled to Haiti with Food For The Poor to witness the plight of the destitute, and has just returned from reporting on the earthquake's aftermath.
