"And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest?"

~Luke 12:25-26

Unlike the people of this world, we, the children of the Most High God are not anxious about the outcome of the 2016 elections. For we know with absolute certainty that the King of kings and the Lord of lord reigns with steadfast love, righteousness, and justice (Jer 9:23-24) throughout all the earth; no matter who resides in the White House.

No man, no spirit, nor anything in all creation can take away from, nor give to God's children what He has given them and secured for them by the blood of His Son—eternal life in Jesus Christ. Therefore, I fear not that my religious liberties will be taken, nor any of my earthly comforts, nor my very life, because no one is able to strip away from me the freedom, comfort, and life that I have in Jesus Christ.

I will worship and love the LORD my God with all my heart with all my soul with all my mind and with all my strength—no matter the cost. And I will fear God Almighty alone and live by faith in the Son of God who gave Himself for me (Gal 2:20), rather than live in fear or faith of any man or woman who holds the office of President. For the One who presides in Heaven, and has the earth as His footstool, is greater than all others.

Faith trumps fear. Which is why my family has voted for Tom Hoefling, and strongly exhort other Christians to do the same. Let us refuse to dive into the evanglecial abyss of casting a vote for one hedonistic man (Donald Trump) in order to keep one hedonistic woman (Hillary Clinton) out of the Oval Office. Let us do all things based on our fear and faith in Christ our God, and refuse to do anything based on the fear of man...or woman.

May all God's people say "Amen!"
