This week's edition of the PBS newsmagazine program RELIGION & ETHICS NEWSWEEKLY (distributed Friday, March 20 at 5 p.m., check local listings) will include the following reports:

  • Corporate Morality - Bob Abernethy is joined by Dr. David Miller, director of the Princeton University Faith & Work Initiative, for a studio discussion focusing on questions of corporate morality and public responsibility raised by the AIG controversy over executive bonuses.
  •  Civil Disobedience - Lucky Severson talks with environmental activist Tim DeChristopher about his decision to defy federal law during a BLM auction of oil and gas drilling leases in Utah.
  •  Jewish Reaction to Madoff Scandal - Betty Rollin explores how the Madoff scandal has affected the Jewish non-profit world and what Rabbinical Jewish teachings say about business ethics.

SPECIAL NOTE: This week in One Nation: Kim Lawton discusses how the Obama administration is attempting to reach out to Catholic and evangelical pro-life activists who are angered by some of its new policies.
