$48 Trillion Global Public Debt (INFOGRAPHIC)
America's credit rating is continuing to drop. On Friday the rating firm Egan-Jones dropped its rating for America to an AA- rating. The New American reportes that Egan-Jones forecasts America's budget deficit to continue growing by 8%.
The following infographic by The Economist shows that America is not the only large country with dangerous levels of debt. Total global public debt is more than $48 trillion.
