61% of Never Married Americans Want to Marry
The Pew Research Center conducted a poll of Americans adults that have never married. The poll shows that 61% of this group wants to marry. 12% has rejected marriage and 27% is undecided about marriage.
Another interesting statistic included in the following infographic: "Nearly 4-in-10 or 39% of Americans say marriage is becoming obsolete."
The infographic by Couple Resorts also reveals that only 5% of adults in America were divorced in 1960.
