Significantly fewer abortions happen for married women vs single women in the United States. This infographic by Online for Life reveals that for every 1,000 live births there are 510 abortions for unmarried women but drops to "61 abortions for every 1,000 live births" for married women.
Another surprising abortion statistic: "It would have taken about 342 Hiroshima type nuclear attacks to kill as many people as abortion has killed since Roe vs Wade."
Perhaps you can do something to save a life and prevent an abortion. Here's a suggestion: Contact a crisis pregnancy center near you to see if they need a volunteer.

Even during Bible times there were people suffering from sleep deprivation. In Ecclesiastes 5:12 (ESV) Solomon wrote, "Sweet is the sleep of a laborer, whether he eats little or much, but the full stomach of the rich will not let him sleep."
Although the Bible never prescribes a cure for sleep deprivation, it does offer some encouragement.
In Psalm 127:2 (NLT) we read, "It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones." Matthew 11:28 (NIV) says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.'
This infographic by Health Central examines the dangers of sleep deprivation. It reports that "60 million Americans have chronic sleep disorders."

The following infographic asks the question: "Why are we afraid of the dark?"
Darkness and light are recurring themes / imagery appearing in the Bible. In Ephesians 5:11 we read, "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them." John 3:19 is another verse about light and darkness: "This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil."
Fear is also a common theme in scripture. Isaiah 41:10 is just one of many verses mentioning fear: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
This infographic by Online Clock reports that "5% of adults say they are afraid of the dark." Are you afraid?

Violence against women is a problem throughout the world, according to the United Nations Regional Information Centre which produced this infographic. Sexual violence even exists in countries you might assume to be relatively safe.
This infographic reports that "22.3% of women experience sexual violence by non-partners in their lifetime in Switzerland."
The Biblical Counseling Coalition, reports that in the United States "women 16 to 19 years old have the highest rate of sexual victimization of any age group."
What can Christians do about this abuse? Christians should form an environment where people are safe from predators, victims can seek healing, and justice is sought.
