The Cost of Bible Translation (INFOGRAPHIC)

According Wycliffe Bible Translators, there are 209 million people lacking access to a Bible translation. There are 1,967 languages without a Bible translation. The cost for beginning this translation work is $500 million.

Besides donating money, Wycliffe asks that Christians pray for the missionaries translating the Bible. Wycliff publishes prayer guides to keep the church world informed of the challenges and prayer needs of missionaries working in Bible translation.
