Traditional TV vs Online TV: a Ministry Opportunity (INFOGRAPHIC)

This infographic by Nurun Lab indicates the growing popularity of streaming video / TV over the Internet. Online TV is especially popular among Americans between the ages of 18 and 24.

For churches the opportunity to launch a video streaming website may be significantly cheaper than broadcasting on a religious TV network. In some cases televangelists are spending $15,000 for 30 minutes of airtime.

Pastor Mark Driscoll has developed a large audience online. Mars Hill Church reports that "about 10 million sermons listened to and watched each year."
