War on Gender (Part 1)

text size A A A

This is a delicate topic, but for many, it needs to be addressed. I plead forgiveness in advance, if it causes offense. Please be patient to read to the end. There are many things God chose for us; our parents, the timing of our birth and our gender. God also made the genders different and ordained procreation that humanity may be fruitful and multiply within the confines of marriage. Satan, who comes to kill, steal and destroy, has other ideas … first he plants the successful idea that difference in gender implies inequality and oppression. Then he suggests a novel neutral gender which negates the need to identify as male or female … then he slowly kills any arrangement that encourages procreation in a traditional family setting (single mothers are fine by him) … offering any alternative (sexual, career, etc ) that boosts singleness, kills the force of normal wife-husband unity and renders Christian family structures obsolete.

A father was recently shocked to see his son come into his house dressed as a woman, saying he has discovered his gender was female … the father said nothing, not knowing what to do and how to address the issue. One day he had an idea … the father also bought a wig and a dress and started dressing as a woman in the house … when his son saw him, he exclaimed “dad, you look ridiculous!! “ … the son got the message. We are made to reflect the glorious image of God and not be ridiculous.

Parents in the UK are being told to encourage their children to choose their gender and children are being taught in school how to discover their gender. Do not laugh … restrooms in the US White House are no more to be male or female, leading a trend … countries have accepted the decision to stop gathering data on gender … passports will not require male or female identity data … shops will no more sell toys for boys and girls separately … dolls will be encouraged for boys to play with and soldiers made for girls … women are soon to lead armies in battle, effeminate men are said to be born that way and masculine women are raised as positive leadership models … and more are electing to stay single than at any time in history (many widows who should, will not remarry) . This attack on gender is helped by the fact that it is cloaked as freedom from oppression and the belief that this is a mark of societal progress …but the reality is that this is an alternative choice made for them by some other forces. Thinkers at some stage in history nurtured these changes.

For illustration, Yves St Laurent, a man who did not even like women, and was married to another man (Pierre Berge) as far back as the 1950s … actually popularised the women’s trouser suit in Paris, and made billions convincing women to put aside their gowns and look smart. In his biography, he admitted this was his most brilliant and bankable concept and invention. Women wear trousers today and many will not have children (not to hurt their figure) because of the talents of men like Yves St. Laurent … no other reason. Today, vogue covers have convinced women to look more and ever like broom sticks (risking life-threatening surgical procedures) rather than accept the genetic choices made by God. Many women choose not to have children (or outsource child birth) and many actually die of anorexia nervosa, after taking pills to supress appetite to be skinny. It is so bad that it is now considered a serious and illegal abuse to feature models below a certain threshold of weight– even as young girls self-destruct trying to resemble tall skeletons. Women all over the world believe they are making their own choices not knowing they simply accept to be brainwashed by deliberately seeded and planned social trends.

In 2014, it was announced that two Silicon Valley giants now offer women a game-changing career perk: Apple and Facebook will pay for employees to freeze their eggs. These firms appear to be the first major employers to offer this coverage for non-medical reasons. “Having a high-powered career and children is still a very hard thing to do,” said Brigitte Adams, an egg-freezing advocate and founder of the patient forum By offering this benefit, companies are investing in women, she said, and supporting them in carving out the lives they want. When successful, egg freezing allows women to put their fertility on ice, so to speak, until they’re ready to become parents. Costs typically add up to at least $10,000 for every round, plus $500 or more annually for storage.

What is the war about? It is an attack on three principal things … kingdom principles on family, procreation in Christian homes and societal harmony. God did not make a mistake by choosing anyone’s gender, and by assigning different biblical responsibility to different sexes. Blurring these responsibilities is not freedom but yet another act of rebellion. The result being men and women choosing to stay single much longer than they need to, the demonization of traditional Christian marriage, teen violence and societal breakdown and confusion. The advice and encouragement that should ordinarily come from a husband or wife now comes from confused media and “partners”. It is no more considered elegant to introduce your spouse as husband or wife … the new all-embracing term, to accommodate any present and possible future social invention, is “partner”. Men and women do not hold on to jobs, as they have less responsibilities or reasons to do so… children and teens brought up by violent media/games coming from homes where mothers and fathers are separated, or absent soon became aberrant and mature with values no one can explain.

Am I exaggerating the situation? Am I endorsing oppression of women? Am I against equality of genders? I am not. We are all one in Christ but God still made gender distinctions.

Galatians 3:28: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

When we see societal order breaking down, extremes in violence/teen rebellion and social anarchy, we observe the mature fruits seeded by brilliant philosophers like Nietzsche, Sigmund Freud and many modern day thinkers who gave us the idea that the Bible and any religious affection serves only to suppress human potential and natural urges. These thinkers taught that biblical thinking makes us victims to be dominated and cheated by other human beings, society, governments and evil monarchs who use religion as a tool for oppression or as an escape from reality. This is still the present line of thinking that upholds the atheism in western societies.

Enough said on this war. My friend, fight the good fight of faith … do not be unaware as you make that decision. Think about the impact on what God has ordained as His will for the family. Are you an absent father? Are you a parent too busy (even in ministry) to nurture a healthy family and raise your children? Dear woman, will that decision cause your daughter to be raised by relatives, home-movies, housemaids, school teachers, nannies and drivers … think again, the future of society is being shaped in your homes and by your choices. God hates divorce … He hates abortion … it is murder; that may be the next President you may be killing. Women have roles to play in business and leadership – as the Bible features leaders like Deborah - and they should not be suppressed. Men and those who assume they can abuse biblical instructions for evil domination incur a greater wrath from the Almighty. In whatever we do, God is never mocked.

Go to the word of God and be guided …. Let your mind be renewed by the word of God and not by social experiments with consequences yet to be fully understood. God created us for His (not yours) pleasure and for us to be with Him in eternity. (Watch out for Part II)
