Encountering Missionaries at Missions Conferences

text size A A A

If you have never attended a missions conference, please consider attending one. Missionaries tell inspiring stories of how God is redeeming people around the world as they hear the Gospel.

Throughout the year The Christian Post highlights numerous Christian conferences on its events calendar.

You will learn about other cultures and how Christians must walk by faith as they serve.

This week the New Wineskins for Global Mission 2013 conference is being held in Ridgecrest, North Carolina. Some of the topics include how to witness to North American Muslims and reaching the poor with the gospel.

Today Rev. Siméa Meldrum speaks about how her church Agua Viva Church works with children that live in a garbage dump. Bishop Nathan Inyom has planted churches in Cameroon and is speaking on the topic of missions to unreached people groups.

Also please take some time today and pray for missionaries serving Jesus Christ. Some must serve in secret in places where it is illegal to tell people about Jesus.
