The 9th Day - You Are Uniquely Poised - Taking Christianity Into the World

Habakkuk 2:1
I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.

You have just completed a eight day program geared towards radically changing the way you do "church." God desires for our lives to be one of great joy, peace, growth and accomplishment. As you graduate from this program the below steps will do much to help keep you on task as the 9th day (the rest of your life) is lived for the One Purpose You Were Intended.

Five Ways to Be on Guard

-Be an "Energizer for Jesus." Just as the Energizer Rabbit could not be stopped so should your faith be strong and undeterred. Standing on the rock of our faith and in the power of Jesus we should live victoriously knowing we have already won, regardless of what lays ahead.

-God is looking for a few good men/women. Matthew 7:14 "But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Just as the Marines are looking for the few who want to live in mastery of their lives, so is God looking for those who are willing to train their mind spiritually putting on the very armor of God. Similarly, an athlete who excels at his sport is one who is dedicated to his craft and the constant practicing of his craft and the fundamentals.

-Be ever Ready. 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." I believe that most often the life the difference between ultimate failure and fantastic success is simply the difference of taking one more step. Don't ever give up, live in God's will and you will live victoriously and experience a life of unparalleled success. Though it may not be success the way the world sees it, but one of far greater importance and eternal reward.

-Know your Enemy's Tricks. 1 Peter 5:8 "Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Most of all human failings are all own fault choosing to go our own way. The devil will do anything that he can to lead you astray. Be wary of what others say to you ensuring that all you do and think aligns with His goal for you and your life. Stay on Eternal Patrol being sure not to fall for the evil one's snares.

-Live Expectantly. 2 Timothy 4:6-8 "For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. No one, no not one, can stop us if we stay on task. Living knowing your eternal destiny fighting for what is right, letting God be the judge, and living for the way when we can hear God say "well done my good and faithful servant."
