Duluth CPA on National Day of Prayer...Taking Christianity Into the World

Celebrate the 58th Annual Observation of the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7th. The National Day of Prayer Task Force Mission is to "Communicate with Every Individual the Need for Personal Repentance and Prayer, Mobilizing the Christian Community to Intercede for America and its leadership..."

The National Day of Prayer Task Force desires to bring God's people together, protect our right to worship, preserve our heritage, encourage prayer and respect, stewardship and to Glorify God by our actions and deeds. The National Day of Prayer was created by federal law by Congress in 1952. The celebration centers around the belief that our country was initially founded in prayer and respect for God and the Bible.

Laying down what separates us, the National Day of Prayer is a great way to repent of our differences, regardless of race or denomination and to focus on what unites us in the redeeming love of Jesus Christ. When Jesus walked the earth as man, he was still God incarnate; in the flesh. He faced everything that we did including his friends who deserted him at this greatest time of need, yet He did not falter and did not fail. Jesus did not focus on what divided us and indeed challenged the religious leaders of the day as He taught grace, forgiveness and the redeeming power of God. Join in the goal of the National Day of Prayer and Taking Christianity Into the World.

"Dare to Attempt Something so Great for the Kingdom of God that it is doomed to failure, lest Christ be in it!" What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31
