Atlanta CPA on Serving Others...Taking Christianity Into the World
"...Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave- just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Matthew 20:26-28
I believe that spiritual maturity comes when we emulate Christ in all things and at all times and not just on Sunday. Though Sunday is especially important when we are growing in our spiritual faith and walk. I believe Jesus spent most of his time in the world telling others of who He was and what he was here for. I believe we serve when we lay down our interests and look to the needs of others without hesitation and without reservation. Serving comes in many ways including:
-Serving in the Mission Field.
-Being aware that the Mission Field is our work, home, school, friends and at play.
-Being a Servant/Leader to my Spouse.
-Considering Others Better than Myself.
-When I Know More Than Others Not Being Right...But Being Like Jesus.
-Taking Jesus Along with All Parts of My Life.
-Offering Grace: God's Unmerited Favor, Regardless of the Truth or Circumstance.
