Atlanta CPA: Dreams for Native Family Missions

The below is an e-mail I just received from one of our team members in getting ready for 2011 Native Family Missions:

Good Morning and Happy New Year!!

I just finished my quiet time this morning before church, and I'm already thinking. I am feeling that like we did last year, we all need to be a part of picking what we will study in July. I can have $ designated to cover materials if we can get some thoughts going on this in January and February. John has already brought up The Purpose Driven Life study by Dr. Rick Warren. I have a couple more thoughts. Beth Moore has a study out called The Inheritance which has videos and a workbook with no homework. You listen to the video and do the work in class. I'm getting ready to start this study and will see what it looks like. Also, Dr. Charles Stanley has a study out on his 31 Life Principles of the Bible which are a general guide of life principles that he lives by that have come from his years of studying the Bible. They are a guideline for how to live life "the Bible way." It is a workbook of studies on each of these principles.

If you can carve out some time when you are out and about, could you please drop into a Christian bookstore and look at studies or start thinking about studies that you have done in the past that you really enjoyed that you think that our precious friends would enjoy as well? This way, we can start praying and seeking God about His plans for us this year.

Thank you all for indulging me in my thoughts for this coming year. I want it to be the best ever and to make sure that we have money for more than 25 books as we ran out last year.

It is great to see you off to such a fast start in 2011.

I believe this is the year to start them meeting each and every week at the High School or at someone's home. Mr. Spade has mentioned meeting at the school would be fine, in the past.

What do you all think about getting together this next week or so and setting up as a goal date to have them start meeting by March 1st of this year.

Please see what you all can do to begin collecting books for their review as well as daily devotion books we might be able to leave behind.

Pray about what you might do to help us in 2011 as we seek to Taking Christianity Into the World
