The Non-Negotiables - Taking Christianity Into the World

There are many tenants to our Faith but there are some must haves that are essential to accepting the standard Jesus laid out for us. Understanding, Endorsing, and Sharing these are critical to you own spiritual walk as well as the furtherance of the Kingdom. By focusing on what that unites us, Believers across the world can unite for the benefit of all and the glory of God.

The Four Must Haves of Christianity - Taking Christianity Into the World

-Inherently Sinful. Genesis 4:7 "If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it." By the sin of Adam in the Garden of Eden, we are all inherently sinful. It is only by the grace of God that we are forgiven and made His.

-One Way. John 14:6 "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Many believe there are varied ways to get into Heaven but there is only One.

-Faith. There is nothing I can do to earn my way into Heaven. Ephesians 2:8-10 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

-God's Word, the Bible, is Inerrant. Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." Do not chose to interpret the Bible to suit your needs or desires. Understanding, believing and acting as though the Bible is God's true non-errant words is the beginning to true faith.
