When No One is Watching, What Do You Do?
What Are You Going to Do When No One is Watching? Our integrity is based upon what we do at all times, not just when someone is watching. Recently we inadvertently received an overpayment on one of our accounts and we were the only ones who knew. Below is a sample of the letter we sent to the client advising them of the issue:
Thank you for your recent $1100 payment.
In posting it to your account I noted a 4-28-11 payment of $200 that I had inadvertently failed to reflect on your open monies, creating a $200 payment.
I can go ahead and refund the $200 or if you prefer I can apply it to your 2010 tax return preparation to yet be done.
Be blessed.
Are you going to serve the God in Heaven who made you? Or Are You Going to Decide to Serve Satan Who is Looking to Destroy You?
Decide Today to Whom You Will Serve.
