There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. (Albert Einstein)
The older I get, the more I begin to regard my life as being a matrix of miracles, as Einstein apparently believed. God is constantly intervening in my life. I see His hand in the lives of my family, through the affection of my friends, in the faces of the people I worship with, in the events taking place in my professional life....
I'm truly a man who is awash in grace and grateful that I no longer keep the spiritual side of my life separate from my secular activities. Both sides are joined in this matrix of miracles that I am living in.
The Bible accurately observes that "...we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." In other words, God is working "in all things" in my life to bring me to the place He has planned for me. I've never been more convinced than I am now that this "work" is always going on as reality dazzles me every day. Everything is a miracle!
Heavenly Father: Thanks that every day, every moment, You intervene to give to me blessings I do not deserve and to spare me from whatever punishments that rightfully should be mine.
