I named the blog because the "Acts of Paul and Thecla" illustrates how popular yet controversial Paul's teachings over celibacy and chastity were in the early centuries of Christianity.

Senators from Alabama to Michigan

I must be honest and admit to everyone that my previous posts have been more as an American citizen rather than as someone called to preach a certain message. After the collapse of the Roman Empire when the Christian church attained unprecedented power as the only remaining organization, the Church concluded that there were religious matters and non-religious matters in response to the developing new nations. Both were important, and both required specific offices. There is a strong overlap between the religious or spiritual and the non-religious or corporeal because we have moral and social obligations to our communities and to our neighbors in this world. However, there are other important areas where there is no such overlap. Thus, I write these previous articles merely as an American citizen. As citizens of America, we have the right and the duty to voice our opinions to our government, to protest if necessary, and to ensure fairness. As an American citizen, I give you a partial list of current senators from Alabama to Michigan.

One Final Comment

There is plenty that remains to be said about this presidential election. However, I have neither opportunity nor wakefulness for all of it. I worked a full shift on Monday night, and I have another full shift on Tuesday. The polls confuse me. Although the polls show a tight and close race, Mitt Romney has consistently surpassed Obama in rally attendance and enthusiasm. There seems to be a big disconnect between polls and rallies.

There is little else for me to do, and I think I have done all I can do. The only thing that remains for me is prayer, and I will pray for this election. God always has the final say in the end. It could be what He wants to happen, or it could be what He allows to happen. God always has the ultimate control and authority.

I made two batches of matza on Sunday. I felt like I needed to do this in preparation for the election. Matza is unleavened bread. The foods described and listed in the Torah have a symbolic meaning. Matza or unleavened bread represents the absence of sin. To be without leaven is to be without sin. When Jesus handed His disciples the bread and said, "this is my body you eat," that bread was matza.

Zealous for America

This is a question that I should probably ask myself as I drink highly caffeinated coffee at 11:30pm at night... Well, I know that answer to my own question. There is no other time for me to wash laundry. I checked the blogs, and found a link to Twitchy stating that Mitt Romney is going to continue the campaign in Cleveland, Ohio and in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

This raises a serious question about a potential Romney presidency. FULL POST

Sandy Katrina

Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans during the second Bush term. In his first term in office, Obama has had a malignant economy, a terrorist attack that took two weeks for him to acknowledge, and a natural disaster more massive than Katrina. Big Government response has been slow to respond to the Big Storm, and another storm appears ready to reach the eastern coast again.

Hundreds of thousands of commuters faced a frustrating journey into the city as public transportation remained spotty. Service on many rail lines was reduced and the subway was running at about 80 percent of its normal service.

The challenges were more severe for tens of thousands of people unable to return to their homes and many more than that living without power or heat. A strong "Nor'easter" storm was forecast to bring freezing temperatures and more rain and wind by the middle of the week.

...

In New York, utilities came under increasing pressure to restore heat and light to some 650,000 customers. More than half of those were served by the Long Island Power Authority

Voter Vigilance, not Voter Revenge

New reports of votes incorrectly recorded have now occurred in Colorado. This makes North Carolina, Ohio, Kansas, Nevada, and Colorado Local news group KRDO reported:

PUEBLO, Colo. -

The Colorado Secretary of State's Office is investigating after some Pueblo voters say voting machines switched their pick from Mitt Romney to Barack Obama.

The Pueblo County Republican Party said they've heard of more than a dozen reports of the problem.

One voter, who didn't want to use her name, told KRDO Newschannel 13 that when she hit the touchscreen for Romney, a check mark appeared next to Obama's name. She said she asked for help to fix the problem, but still feels unsure about her vote.

"I wonder where my vote really counted," she said.

With such a pervasive problem, particularly in swing states, a recount or a revote will more than likely be in order. Many people continue to blame human or machine errors. However, these are errors that can have a significant impact upon the lives of American citizens and humans across the globe. If these are simple errors, then the Obama campaign will have no problem in agreeing to or even requesting a revote or a recount. These errors appear in Obama's favor, so his behavior regarding a revote/recount will certainly reveal parts of his character. FULL POST

Contact your Local News

In addition to protesting the mainstream media, I encourage everyone to contact your local news agencies and to encourage them to report about national events such as the Benghazi massacre, Obama's decision to cut FEMA funding, and non-union utility workers being turned down from New Jersey.

One local news group 48 WAFF from Alabama reported:

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NEW JERSEY (WAFF) -

The hurricane-ravaged east coast has been receiving north Alabama help, but crews from Huntsville Utilities learned they'll be doing work in Long Island, New York instead of in New Jersey.

Crews from Huntsville, as well as Decatur Utilities and Joe Wheeler out of Trinity headed up there this week, but Derrick Moore, one of the Decatur workers, said they were told by crews in New Jersey that they can't do any work there since they're not union employees.

The crews that are in Roanoke, Virginia say they are just watching and waiting even though they originally received a call asking for help from Seaside Heights, New Jersey. FULL POST

Be Vigilant about your Vote

If you worry that your vote has been recorded incorrectly, then I suggest that you check with your board of elections and local government. First, read what the voters did in their states when they discovered the problem. If you find a similar problem with your voting machine, then definitely follow what they did. At the end of the article, there is a phone number for you to check upon your votes. In at least three states, votes for Romney have been recorded incorrectly as votes for Obama.

MARION — Joan Stevens was one of several early voters at the polls on Monday. But when Stevens tried to cast her ballot for president, she noticed a problem.

Upon selecting “Mitt Romney” on the electronic touch screen, Barack Obama’s name lit up.

It took Stevens three tries before her selection was accurately recorded.

“You want to vote for who you want to vote for, and when you can’t it’s irritating,” Stevens said.

Stevens said she alerted Jackie Smith, a board of elections member who was present. Smith declined to comment, but Stevens says she mentioned that the machine had been having problems all day. FULL POST

Are Human Lives a Partisan Matter?

Should human lives be considered partisan things or a partisan issue? After hurricane Sandy devastated New Jersey, Governor Chris Christie requested and received government assistance for the citizens of New Jersey. All the liberals were thoroughly excited over it. Two liberals commented on twitter about Christie's "bi-partisanship" as if human lives are somehow a partisan issue. But this has nothing to do with politics and nothing to do with being bi-partisan. The fate and the basic survival of humans are a completely non-partisan issue irrelevant to politics. And yet, liberals are regarding this as a partisan matter.

The hurricane had halted both campaigns temporarily. The hurricane's approach forced Mitt Romney to cancel some events. Obama returned to Washington D.C and did his job. Romney donated campaign buses to carry supplies and then transformed Tuesday campaign rallies into relief events. The liberal media did not appreciate Romney's relief efforts.

An article from the Christian Post mentioned Christie as dismissing both candidates and both campaigns in favor of caring for his citizens.

In an appearance Tuesday morning on Fox News, reporters attempted to ask New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie about potential visits by Obama or Romney. But an impatient Christie quickly brushed off any further questions regarding VIP visits.

"If you think I care about anything campaign related at the moment, then you don't know me very well," said Christie. "I have a job to do here and that's all I'm thinking about right now."

Referring back to that twitter comment, complimenting Christie for "bi-partisanship" because he cares about and values human life strongly implies harsh and vulgar beliefs that liberals harbor against conservatives. The liberals think that conservatives hate human life. The liberals think that human life is a political and partisan subject. Hence, the "bi-partisan" comment because Chris Christie values the human lives of his New Jersey citizens. Liberals believe that only they care about the partisan topic of human life. FULL POST

Email Protest the Mainstream Media

Four news agencies have not reported about the Benghazi massacre to the extent that it deserves. These news agencies are ABC, CNN, NBC, CBS, and MSNBC. ABC has done some reporting, but it needs encouragement to do more. Despite the fact that numerous evidence is there for them to report about, they choose to keep silent to the most part or all the part. There are emails which prove that the Obama administration knew about the Benghazi attack while it occurred. And we had the military forces in place to protect Christopher Stevens but someone refused to give the order. And there are multiple reports of the deteriorating conditions in Libya. There is a fifty-one page report of attacks and dangerous incidences leading to the new Sept 11. The CIA had called it a terrorist attack from the start, contradicting Obama's 2-week condemnation of a YouTube video. The website scribd.com has a list of leaked documents, unclassified yet sensitive, which discuss the violence and the lack of security. The leaked documents also show that the administration decreased security while the violence increased - and that our officials were requesting more security, which we know they never received.
