People Built This Nation
A short time after Biden went to the NAACP and ignored the two things essential for freedom - jobs and education - Obama made a campaign speech in which he told the American people,
"if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something – there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there."
So, according to Obama, an education is useless for a person's success, and hard work is useless for success. Then, what is the purpose of either one? If people cannot take satisfaction in their education and their employment, then they will stop focusing on their education and stop focusing on their jobs. Then, we will have a group more dependent upon the government, and dependents are submissive under the authority of the group that has control.
Again, this is similar to Obama's Biden denying to talk about the two things necessary for freedom. Obama through the words of his vice-president Joe Biden never promised jobs and education to African-Americans. Obama tells the people that jobs and education are worthless for success. Obama continues to say:
"If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet."
Notice that he always refers to somebody and never refers to the people. At the end, he specifies government. That somebody is the government. According to this part of the speech, people are indebted to the government and are dependent upon the government for their success. If people are dependent upon the government, then the people are subservient to the government. And this is what our founders rebelled against. This is why they rebelled to found this nation. This is what the slaves escaped from and what they fought against.
This is a country by the people, for the people, and of the people. It is not a country of the government. Government is subservient to the people. All government officials should be servants of the people because the people have the authority. Obama takes the exact opposite stance. Obama thinks that the government has the power and control when in reality the power and control belongs to the people. Obama earlier promised an expansion on medicare and medicaid, ignoring jobs and education, which leads to dependency on government and less personal freedom.
And this speech is another attempt by the Democrats to convince people that they are indebted to the government. Just like how they hijacked the narrative of the Civil Rights movement to portray themselves as lovingly bestowing rights. The Democrats hijacked the narrative because they wanted African-Americans to think of themselves as dependent and indebted to the Democrats. Dependency and debt leads to submission and loss of freedom. The Democrats never lovingly bestowed anything. The Civil Rights movement was a movement by the people, of the people, and for the people, and these people forced the government to submit to their will.
