To be a good steward of your body is to keep it healthy. Just about everyone is concerned with their weight; mostly those, who find themselves on the heavier side of their ideal poundage. Especially now, at the beginning of the summer months, we tend to be more critical of our shapes than when they are covered by winter coats. More importantly, keeping our bodies fit allows us to better serve our Lord and honor His gift. FULL POST

The Lord has given us our bodies to be respected, hallowed and kept healthy. This is an enormous responsibility that is often neglected, as we all too often allow ourselves to decline into disarray and sickness. It may be true that the Lord alone heals. But often He does so by giving us the incentive, the technology and the necessary tools. All we need to do is open our eyes and accept His gifts. FULL POST
