1 kings 18 - a story of decision

Whenever I am looking at people, who need to have a critical decision about their life, when they are in a junction that they need to choose whether to go right or left, I remind the saying of Elijah the prophet in the book of kings, when he want to show the people of Israel who is the real God, what is the good way to choose, what is the belief that they should adopt, as written in 1 kings 18: 21-

"Elijah went before the people and said, "How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him. But the people said nothing"

There are at least for interpretations for this lovely verse: firstly, how long you are thinking two different, contradictories, thoughts- if you want to believe in God- believe him and if not believe in the Baal; secondly, how long you are moving between one branch to another, metaphorically means the same like the first; thirdly, how long you are jumping between one cliff to another - choose the cliff you want to climb on, metaphorically means, choose what you believe in; fourthly, how long can you act like cripples person- you have to be complete with your thoughts!

The last is the best cause it sais that you can think, but in the end you should choose not to be a cripple in your mind , you have to decide in every junction what is the best way , you have to go left or right, not to go left and right...
