Daniel in the lions' Den- Part 2

After the other leaders were unable to find any occasion against Daniel, they devised a scheme to trap Daniel by making it illegal for him to worship God.
They convinced king Darius to make it mandatory for all his subjects to worship him for the next 30 days and anyone caught worshipping anyone else must be thrown into a den of hungry lions as written in Daniel 6:8-9-

" אִתְיָעַטוּ כֹּל סָרְכֵי מַלְכוּתָא, סִגְנַיָּא וַאֲחַשְׁדַּרְפְּנַיָּא הַדָּבְרַיָּא וּפַחֲוָתָא, לְקַיָּמָה קְיָם מַלְכָּא, וּלְתַקָּפָה אֱסָר: דִּי כָל-דִּי-יִבְעֵא בָעוּ מִן-כָּל-אֱלָהּ וֶאֱנָשׁ עַד-יוֹמִין תְּלָתִין, לָהֵן מִנָּךְ מַלְכָּא--יִתְרְמֵא, לְגֹב אַרְיָוָתָא. כְּעַן מַלְכָּא, תְּקִים אֱסָרָא וְתִרְשֻׁם כְּתָבָא: דִּי לָא לְהַשְׁנָיָה כְּדָת-מָדַי וּפָרַס, דִּי-לָא תֶעְדֵּא."

" All the presidents of the kingdom, the prefects and the satraps, the ministers and the governors, have consulted together that the king should establish a statute, and make a strong interdict, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any god or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions. Now, O king, establish the interdict, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not"

Daniel remained true to his God and he didn't even think to hide the fact that he prays to God . He was caught praying to God .When king Darius found out he was very disappointment because he liked Daniel.But even Darius had to obey the law and so at sundown Darius was forced to give the order to have Daniel arrested. He had no choice. King Darius gave the order. Soldiers got Daniel and brought him to the Lion's Den.

The Lion's Den was a large hole in the ground from which the lions could not get out. Because they could not get out, they could never go hunting for their own food. So these lions were starving.
The next day, as soon as the sunrose, the king hurried to the lions' Den.He stood over the stone and called Daniel. Then he heard Daniel's voice calling him that he did nothing wrong.
The king called the guards to open the den. When they lifted Daniel out, there was not even a scratch on him. Darius sent for the men who had tricked and trapped Daniel. He told his guards to throw these men into the lions' den.
After the king saw that the lions didn't touch Daniel, he ordered everyone in his kingdom to respect and fear Daniel's God.
