Who was Nammah?
Nammah was the Daughter of Lamech and Zillah and sister of Tubal-Cain as mention is Gensis 4:19, 22-
" And Lamech took unto him two wives; the name of one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.... And Zillah, she also bore Tubal-cain, the forger of every cutting instrument of brass and iron; and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah."
According to the Kabala, Nammah was one of the four queens of the demons and one of the four mates of Sammael .The other three are Lilith, Igrat Bat Mahlat and Eisheth Zenunim
In Kabalistic literature, Naamah was transformed into a beautiful seductress who comes to the beds of men sleeping alone and makes love to them. At first she appears as the most beautiful woman imaginable.
The Red Book of Appin lists Naamah as the Queen of Fear. In the Legends of jews, Nammah is the mother of Ashmedai (see Demons In Jewish Mythology-Ashmedai blog) by the demon Shamadon.
According to the Zohar, Nammah adorns herself as a prostitute and stands waiting for her victim at the crossroads.
After she has captured the affection of her victim and induced him to commit sin, she appears as a giant and savage demoness.
