Four Angels of the Throne - Gabriel, Michael, Uriel and Raphael

From the Kriat Shema:

"To my right Michael and to my left Gabriel, in front of me Uriel and behind me Raphael, and over my head God's Shekhinah ..."

The word "malakh", an angel, means "messenger", obtained the further signification of "angel" only through the addition of God's name, as "angel of the Lord," or "angel of God" .Other appellations are "Sons of God" or "the Holy Ones" .Angels of the Throne, also known as "Angels of the Presence" or "Angels of the face", are high-level that surround the Throne of God.

The Angels Hebrew Scriptures

In the Bible

Only two Angels are mention in the Bible, both of them can be found in The Book Of Daniel: Michael and Gabriel.

The Book Of Daniel 10,13:

" But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia."

The Book Of Daniel 8,16:

" And I heard a man's voice from the Ulai calling, "Gabriel, tell this man the meaning of the vision."

Michael and Gabriel are the most important of the angels.Next time we will spaek about the angels in the Apocrypha
