The family who made duck calls a successful business and A&E reality show will be hosting Christian music's first and only fan-voted awards show in June.
That's right, Duck Dynasty's Phil & Kay Robertson and Jase & Missy Robertson will represent the bearded clan during positive music station K-LOVE's Fan Awards.
The Louisiana family have been very busy since the show first aired 3 seasons ago. Duck Commander President Willie Robertson and his wife Korie wrote a behind-the scenes book entitled The Duck Commander Family. The Robertson family has also been touring the country discussing their Christian faith.
In a video for his upcoming book, "Happy, Happy, Happy: My Life and Legacy as the Duck Commander," family patriarch Phil Robertson testified that he was addicted to "sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll" before he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior.
"It took the blood of God to remove my sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle – sin," he said.
Come Saturday, June 1 Phil Robertson and his wife, son and daughter-in-law will help announce the winners of the Fan Awards music catagories in Nashville, TN. at the Historic Ryman Auditorium.
Third Day, Steven Curtis Chapman, TobyMac, Casting Crowns, The Newsboys and Mercy Me will also perform at the Fan Awards.
K-LOVE will also feature a weekend of concerts and meet and greets and a worship service May 31 through June 2.
