Tina Campbell, one half of the gospel duo Mary Mary, gave birth to her son Santana on August 4 according to news and Twitter reports.
The singer's long labor was chronicled on the groups Twitter page.
August 1 sister and Mary Mary group member Erica Cambell announced to Twitter fans that her sister was on the verge of giving birth.
"Hey guys Tina is doing great still pregnant and very ready to have a newest baby!! Still crazy as ever I Love my little sister:)" she tweeted.
Then at 5:58 a.m., August 4 Tina reported that she was in the hospital. "This is Tina I been at this hospital for 3 hrs why won't this baby come out!? This is Santana's big day he need to hurry up!"
Nearly five hours Erica told fans asking if the baby had arrived yet "Not yet;("
Then at 2:34 p.m. the duo finally tweeted, "Thanks for all the love and support another blessed baby has arrived."
Baby Santana weighs 7 lbs, 5 oz. and is 19.5 inches long according to NewsOne.com. He is reportedly the fifth child of the singer and musician husband Teddy Campbell
