Actress and singer Miley Cyrus told viewers of the Ellen Show she is going after the wedding same look that host Ellen Degeneres' had at her 2008 wedding.

Cyrus,19, is engaged to Australian actor Liam Hemsworth.

When asked what she wanted most on her wedding day, Cyrus said she wanted her wedding to have the same "look" of love that Degeneres and her partner had their wedding.

"I was looking at photos from your wedding and I was looking at like the look and that's why what I'm most excited for is that look when who you're marrying, you see the first time, you seeing the dress and everything you planned for months and months is like coming together and you did it together and it's only the people that you really want there," she told Degeneres.

Degeneres married actress Portia De Rossi (also Australian) in 2008 after coming as a lesbian in 1997. The two began seeing each other in 2004 and got engaged after a California court overturned the state's marriage amendment in 2008. Degeneres and De Rossi's union took place at their backyard with 19 guests in attendence. People magazine published the wedding pictures and Degeneres aired the ">wedding video on her show.

Cyrus is an outspoken Christian. However she has expressed her approval of same-sex marriage on Twitter, tweeting "LOVE IS LOVE. GOD IS LOVE" in 2011. She reaffirmed her stance on the Ellen Show Thursday.

"That's why I always fight for everyone, whoever wants to get married can get married because that look doesn't come with gender," she shared.

Cyrus told Degeneres that she is in no rush to get married because she is working on a new musical album. She also confided that she is a bit overwhelmed by the wedding planning process. Cyrus said she did care for small wedding details such as napkins colors.

Degeneres also threw Cyrus a suprise bachelorette party with two men dancing topless on stage.
