Child actress Raven-Symone quitely let it slip that she is in fact a lesbian after tweeting about gay marriage last week. The Cosby Show and That's So Raven star told her Twitter followers, "I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you." The U.S. Supreme Court voted 5-4 to stike down a provision of DOMA that disqualified married same-sex couples from receiving federal benefits in June.

Rumors emerged as early as last year that the actress was a lesbian living with androgynous American Top Model contestant AzMarie Livingston. Raven refused to reveal her sexuality, tweeting in May 2012 "I'm living my PERSONAL life the way I'm happiest. I'm not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I'm dating. and I shall not start now. My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life."

Although Raven's Aug. 2 tweet revealed that she may indeed be a homosexual, she remains tight-lipped about her relationship. Clay Aiken to Play Joseph in Bible-based Play

Photo Courtesy of Ogunquit Playhouse press release

American Idol alum Clay Aiken will be playing Joseph, son of Jacob and Rachel in the Bible, in a local production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The musical is based on Joseph's journey from the bottom of a pit to an Egyptian Palace. Maine's Ogunquit Playhouse released pictures of Aiken in a rainbow colored robe and long curly hair.

Aiken told Portland Press Herald he accepted the part because "I grew up as a teenager listening to this music. I remember listening to it on a CD Walkman, so there's a little history for me with it."

The play's popular songs include “Go, Go, Go Joseph” and “Any Dream Will Do".

Aiken made waves as a contestant on American Idol in 2003. Although Aiken came in second to winner Ruben Studdard, his 2004 Christmas album Merry Christmas With Love topped Christian music charts and went platinum. Several of Aiken's other albums have debuted in the top five on the Billboard Chart.

He also garnered broad critical acclaim for his Broadway debut as Sir Robin in the Tony Award-winning production of Spamalot in 2008 and 2009 and recently played Man in Chair in the North Carolina Theatre production of The Drowsy Chaperone.

Aiken came out as a homosexual after he became a father to son Parker in 2008. The singer told People Magazine of his decision to publicly proclaim his sexual preference "It was the first decision I made as a father. I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn’t raised that way, and I’m not going to raise a child to do that." FULL POST

Leah Remini Praised for Ditching Scientology

King of Queens Actress Leah Remini shocked Hollywood when she announced her split with the Church of Scientology last month. Now she is receiving support from fellow Scientology ex-member Hollywood Screenwriter/ Director Paul Haggis.

Haggis, who broke from the super-secretive church last in 2009, published an open letter to Remini in The Hollywood Reporter praising her decision. He decribed Remini as "a class act and a lovely human being". He also noted that she was one of only two church members who remained in contact with him after resigning from Scientology.

"Leah and I were always friendly but never close friends. Despite this, she called me as soon as she heard about my letter of resignation. Unlike the rest of my former friends, she expressed real sadness that I was leaving and concern for me and my family," he recalled.

Haggis wrote that Remini was right to question Scientology leader David Miscavige's infallibility. An unnamed source told the New York Post that Remini reportedly left the church after she "questioned the validity of excommunication of people." Ex-Scientology member Mike Rinder said the actress left because she was scolded for asking about Miscavige's wife Shelly while attending Tom Cruise's 2006 wedding. FULL POST

Miley Cyrus Uses Zimmerman Trial to Excuse Racy Video

Disney child star turned wild child pop singer Miley Cyrus is upset with the censorship of her "cute little video" for recent single "We Can't Stop." MTV's European branch edited the video to take out some of the sexual imagery. The video featured Miley and others dancing lewdly and making suggestive gestures with their bodies.

In an interview for U.K. newspaper the Daily Mail, Cyrus lamented "They’ve edited the video here in the UK. They put a big X over my mouth [because] I was going like ‘this.’" "This," the Daily Mail explained, was an explicit gesture indicating oral sex. The pop singer also complained that MTV also removed scenes of girls "twerking" - a dance that is supposedly derived from strip clubs.

Cyrus, doing her best to explain why the video should be aired in its orginal form, defended the song as inconsequential when compared to the not guilty verdict handed down in the George Zimmerman trial.

Cyrus explained, "I just think the world is so lame because you can shoot people in a movie and you can let people like [George] Zimmerman off on trial but you can't have someone going like this [she simulates oral sex gesture], that is so dumb to me." FULL POST

Kim Kardashian Expresses Regret, Remorse for Divorce

© Glenn Francis, www.PacificProDigital.com

Reality star Kim Kardashian showed a hint of regret in the midst of her divorce to NBA player Kris Humphries. Revealing the divorce settlement to her mother and sister, Kardashian revealed that she wished to apologize to Humphries.

"It really bothers me that he really thinks in his heart that I didn't love him," she said. Kardashian asked for one Skype conversation with the Brooklyn Nets player explaining "There are things that I would own up to and say you know what I'm sorry that I hurt you, I'm sorry you felt that we should have communicated better in our filing for divorce.

She summed "I wish I had done that differently. I really do and I want to apologize for that."

Kardashian filed for divorce 72 days after the pair married with much fanfare in 2011. Though she said in a statement that it was a hard decision for her to make, Humphries -- who reportedly wanted to work things out -- charged the reality star with fraud. He insisted that his then estranged wife married him for publicity and asked the court to grant him an annulment rather than divorce. After two years, Humphries' lawyers finally agreed to a divorce. Jay Z, Beyonce Joined Trayvon Martin Rally

The Rev. Al Sharpton brought some star power to his 100-city protest for fallen Florida teen Trayvon Martin Saturday. The civil rights leader appeared in a New York City rally with rapper Jay Z and his songtress wife Beyonce, tweeting a selfie with star-studded pair and Trayvon's mother Sybrina Fulton to prove it. Beyonce, who wore a fitted dress and high heels to rally, also shared a picture of her wrist band on Instagram.

Sharpton called for protest rallies in 100 U.S. cities last weekend after a jury of six women acquitted neighborhood watch Hispanic volunteer George Zimmerman of second-degree murder and manslaughter charges related to the late night slaying of African-American teenager Trayvon Martin. Civil rights advocates say Martin, who was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and carried a ice tea and skittles when Zimmerman spotted him, was the victim of racial profiling. Zimmerman argues that he defended himself after he and Martin got into a physical fight.

At the NYC rally Jay Z and Beyonce opted to keep a low-profile. However Sharpton spoke on behalf of the couple saying, "Jay Z told me, 'I'm a father. Beyonce is a mother.' We all feel the pain and apprehension -- the laws must protect everybody, or it doesn't protect anybody." FULL POST

Will Smith's 12 Yr-old Daughter Sings about "Summer Fling"

Willow, left, with music video extras.

Twitter fans are outraged about the new song and music video from Will and Jada Smith's daughter Willow, 12. Many believe her song "Summer Fling" is inappropriate for a girl her age.

Although the song makes no overt references to sex, critics cite the title and suggestive lyrics such as "You tell me that I'm the one, I tell you it's just for fun" and "It's only for the summer, but we do it anyway" as disturbing.

The Urban Dictionary, a source for slang references, defines a fling as a "deliberately short-term sexual relationship between two people. Longer than a one-night stand, not as serious-sounding as 'affair'."

In the music video, the pre-adolescent starlett flirts around with a love interest at a pool party. Everyone in the video appears older than her including brother Jaden who appears as an extra.

MTV Comedian Jamie Lee mocks the song on Twitter, appearing to blame Willow's alleged Scientology upbringing. "That new Willow Smith song is really disturbing. 'It's only for the summer, but we do it anyway.' That's bc she starts Sea Org in the Fall." she tweeted.

Football analyst Randy Cross also tweeted, "YIKES!! 12?"

Comments on YouTube where the video were equally critical. One wrote "This is just pure disgusting. Be a [expletive] 12 year old and stop trying to grow up too fast." Another wrote "Hey Will, ever heard about parenting?" FULL POST

"Three Wooden Crosses" Singer Randy Travis in Critical Condition

Gerry J. Gilmore, U.S. Department of Defense

Country Singer Randy Travis has undergone heart surgery according to a statement released Monday by his sister-in-law Teresa Traywick and is in critical condition. Travis' publicist reported that the singer was admitted to a Texas hospital Sunday night as a result of viral cardiomyopathy, a condition that weakens the heart muscles.

Traywick expressed concern for what she described as a genetic heart condition. "We have been told he has had surgery. Our prayers are going out to him because my husband just had a heart attack last year, so it is in their family. Their mother passed away at an early age with her heart, so it is like these boys are following right in their footsteps. My prayers are with them. That's all I can say right now."

The 54-year-old singer is known for the gospel-inspired song "Three Wooden Crosses" which was named country music's song of the year in 2003 as well as hits like the 1987 Academy of Coutry Music's song and single of the year "Forever and Ever, Amen" and American Music Award-winner "Deeper Than the Holler."

Despite his accomplishments, Travis has a number of alcohol-related troubles recently including driving drunk and fighting outside of a church.
