Oh, the dreaded sales call. We all recieve them. They are unwanted and usually interrupt us at the most inopportune times, so why do they even bother anymore?

Well, the fact is, cold calling is dead, or should be at least. There is a new tactic that salesmen are using, and that is warm calling. Instead of just calling random numbers on a list, warm calling requires the salesmen to study their prospective buyer before any initial contact. This could be researching the company they work for, or even their personal social media websites. That way, when they call the person, they can form more of a friendly bond before trying to pitch to them.
