Believe it or not, it doesn't take pure talent to be successful in this day and age. In fact, as long as you put in the time and work you too can be an expert in anything that you desire.

You may be thinking to yourself how this can be true. The answer? The 10,000 hour rule. It's pretty simple. Make sure to deliberately practice your trade for 10,000 hours, or roughly 10 years, and you will be considered an expert in that field.

Malcolm Gladwell wrote about the 10,000 hour rule in his book Outliers. The idea is that you don't have to be born with that specific talent to be an expert. This is something many people think, when in reality you really can do anything you set your mind to, as long as you practice long enough.

Check out this infographic presetned by Zintro to learn more about the 10,000 hour rule and how you can even cheat it.
