Psalm 147:5 (NLT)

How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension!

God knows everything. The depth and length of His knowledge is incomprehensible. His strength and power is evident in the earth and is abundantly majestic. He is aware of everything about His earth and His people even into every detail of our future. He is great and there is no one like Him.

When we pray to God, He already knows our needs, our thoughts, our feelings, and our hearts’ deepest desires. Where we are, where we wish to go, and where we come from are not secrets to Him. In His wonder and transcendence, He has the path specifically designed for us to take already laid out — beginning to end. Nothing about us can surprise Him or get Him upset. Celebrate God’s greatness as the glorious bridge of grace that invades our lives when we need it most.

If we submit to the will of God, He has promised to guide us into paths of truth and life. The knowledge and wisdom of man are quickly drained while God’s knowledge and wisdom stretch from generation to generation. We can experience God’s greatness and depth in our lives, if we listen carefully to His voice and yield ourselves to His will and way. It isn’t easy, but it is worth it.

“The hallowing of God's Name is the END toward which His Kingdom coming and the accomplishment of His will are among the MEANS.”
