The Lord Is For You (365 Days of Daring Faith – DAY 11)

Psalm 118:5-6 (NLT)
In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?

David was a man who endured great distress and danger and also experienced God’s great goodness and grace. In this verse, he encapsulates both of these experiences. He lets the world know that the Lord is the God of the weak and the weary and He listens to those who are intent on seeking Him.

God is for you. There is no problem too big or worry too small that God cannot handle. You must learn to trust what God says over what people say. In the darkest of times, when you feel no one is listening to you or can help you, God is right there. He will answer you and set you free.

Nothing is too big or too small for God to handle. People come and go but the Lord remains the same. Stop worrying about what people can do and align yourself with what God can do. If God is for you like He was for David, there is nothing or no one to fear.
