Prayer: Help me to understand more profoundly in truth.

Response: Sometimes in the clamor of life your attempts at prayer are so hastily formed that you rely upon memorized formulas that hardly touch the depth of your inner state. In truth is a reminder to be still, pause,reflect upon and describe where you are on the journey. In adhering to this guidance you enter a prayerful dialogue with the LORD that accurately and authentically conveys who you are and aspire to be, surprising even you how much you learn about yourself in the process.

In truth encouragesyou to put aside all disguises, postures, and pretenses as you call out in a whisper for understanding and grace – whisper because the LORD is quite near, knowing your plea before you have even formed it in your heart.

Experience the LORD in your midst and not hidden behind some cloud bank in the sky, or reserved for a special ceremony, or revealed through an appointed intermediary. Experience this day and every day the LORD directly, intimately, one on one, as being all present, all loving, all forgiving in your life.
