Christian singer Sandi Patty turns 57 today. Patty's music career has lasted more than 30 years. All Music's discography lists 37 recordings. Patty's next album Everlasting will be released in September.
In 1989 Patty sang at George H.W. Bush's presidential inauguration. The singer also voiced the character Esmay in the animated movie The Lion of Judah.

According to the Associated Press, Patty now lives in Oklahoma and attends a church that assisted this year's tornado victims.
