The Hallelujah Diet System is the antidote to the guilt and sickness often caused by what we call the Standard American Diet or SAD.

Medicine and drugs can never prevent sickness nor heal anyone of anything! Only the body has the power and ability to prevent sickness or heal, itself! Healing is only done by the body! All healing comes from the inside!
Another truth: The body’s ability to protect and heal itself from disease was placed into the genetic coding of Adam. This self-protecting/self-healing ability has been passed down through our genes. You and I have self-healing built into our bodies, automatically! But, we must cooperate with the body so that this built-in self-protection, or self-healing can manifest.
We Are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;” the Bible tells us in Psalm 139:14.
No one can properly understand or appreciate the human physical body, without first acknowledging the body’s origin and designer – God! FULL POST

People everywhere are talking about juice cleanses. Drinking only vegetable juice for two or three days used to be called juice fasting and has been in existence for over 70 years. We have to agree though, going on a juice cleanse does sound more appealing than a juice fast.
In the 1930’s,Dr. Max Gerson found that daily juicing was invaluable in curing himself from debilitating migraines. Dr. Norman Walker, in the early 1900’s, who lived to be well over 100, assisted many people in restoring their health while drinking vegetable juices. Nearly 40 years ago, George Malkmus found juicing an effective way to rid himself of cancer and has spoken of the great value of juicing ever since. Although it is now called “juice cleansing”, and celebrities and their doctors are touting the benefits of this anti-aging elixir, we find it actually humorous first, in how long it has taken for people to get on the “juicing bandwagon,” and second, that many people really only see the value of juicing as an easy weight loss option. How do you feel when you have missed a couple of days of your bible study, or a couple of weeks of missing church? Do you feel a little empty? Does life seem to get you down a little more quickly? Everybody knows that continuous spiritual nourishment results in a stronger relationship with our Lord.
This same principal holds true when discussing the Temple of the Holy Ghost, our bodies. If we don’t keep it nourished on a daily basis with quality food and drink, we will immediately notice it will not perform and it will slowly begin to break down.
You wouldn’t think about skimping on the quality of your spiritual meals. We need continual feeding to grow as a child of God. We don’t want to consume meals (sermons/devotions…) that aren’t meaningful, convicting and impacting. Our spirit knows when we’ve skipped a meal.
As our body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost, we need to ensure that the physical foods we consume are also of the highest quality to help maintain a strong body – temple too.
It’s the classic, plant-based health question — which is better, blending or juicing?
The answer is… both. FULL POST

If you are like most people, you like food. There is an abundance of foods at Birthday parties, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, New Year’s Eve, church gatherings, births, funerals, graduations, baptisms, holidays, and of course, “just because” are all great reasons to eat good food. How does your body react to the foods that you’re consuming throughout each day and on these countless “special” occasions?
Do you notice that after these great food sessions, you’re a little slower, your mind seems a bit fuzzy, or you experience some strange aches and pains?
In the news we hear more and more about the connection between disease prevention and the foods we consume. But, who wants to eat “healthy” foods if they don’t taste good? Healthy foods have the reputation of being good for you, but you believe that you have to sacrifice taste.
Doesn’t chocolate peanut butter pie, strawberry ice cream or blueberry cheesecake sound better than the so-called rabbit foods like – lettuce, carrots and greens? FULL POST

We like to complain. We all have our gripes and wish that something would be different. We especially like to gripe about our aches and pains. Oh, not everybody. There are a few who suffer silently and take physical pain all in stride. But so many of us have a whole laundry list of ailments that beset us.
Instead of complaining, try something new. How about being the change you want to see? But how do you change?
First, you need clear vision. You have to see what is possible. Go and read the testimonies at The Hallelujah Diet. Get inspired. Dream of what can be possible. Yes, they are just stories, but why not you? Why not now?
Second, you need to transform your mind. When Paul said, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God,” (Romans 12:2) he was talking about spiritual things and physical things. Paul disciplined his body so that it would do everything that he asked of it. Transformation of our minds will lead us to outward change, just as it did for the Apostle Paul. FULL POST

Do you take your body for granted? Are you able to fully appreciate the wonderful gift that God has given to each of us? Stop for a minute and think about your incredible body.
In Genesis 1:31, immediately after creating man, we read: “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.”God created and entrusted to his human creationa perfect body!
Man was created with a body that was perfect in every aspect. After all, man was designed to enjoy life here on earth forever (Genesis 3:22-24).All he needed to do was pass one test – Don’t eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:17).
Your body consists of nearly 100 trillion cells. Every second of every day these cells that are dying and being replaced. This happens throughout our entire lives. Will the new cell be stronger or weaker than the one it is replacing? This all depends. In Genesis 1:29 God outlined forAdam and Eve the perfect diet for the miraculous body He had just designed. What was that fuel? Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.”The raw foods provided in nature. Whether our new cells are weak or strong depend on our diet. FULL POST

Being a Christian is awesome! We know where we will spend eternity. We have a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. And, we can’t forget about the wonderful fellowship we get to enjoy when we are around other believers. But, what does the world see?
Christians and non-believers live a similar lifestyle. Sure, most Christians go to church at least once a week, read the scriptures and pray, but in reality, our way of life is often no different than those around us. We have similar vocations, we live in similar neighborhoods, we eat the same foods, and we experience the same illnesses.
Most of us have heard sermons on Romans 12:1-2 emphasizing the necessity of being separated from the world in terms of our spirituality. But, how many times have you heard a message on the real context of this verse?
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” FULL POST

In the pristine environment of the Garden of Eden, our Creator gave to mankind His ideal diet. Green plants, fruits, nuts, and seeds appear to be what man thrived on in the beginning. God created us to consume these foods and to have a long life. This diet was for the long haul, as man lived over 900 years, even after the Fall. God designed man to live even longer; had it not been for sin, this diet would have worked well for even longer than 900 years. We refer to this diet as the Genesis 1:29 diet. It was the perfect diet for man in his perfect environment.
Now, we know, too, that God allowed mankind to eat flesh foods after the worldwide flood in Noah’s time. We can only speculate as to the reasons for this, for God did not tell us why He then introduced meat into man’s permissive diet.
Knowing that flesh was allowed in Noah’s time, coupled with 1 Timothy 4:4-5 “For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.” you well might ask yourself, “Why should I refrain from eating whatever I want, as long as I am thankful? Why shouldn’t I eat meat, ice cream and dessert?” FULL POST
