How Repentance Changes How You Think and Act

text size A A A

How does repentance change the way a person thinks and acts?

Kevin Swanson explains in this video that when a person is saved, their perspective is changed. Their faith is linked with repentance. They begin to realize that they are a lost sinner. They see Christ as the Lamb of God who bears the sins of the world and takes on the wrath of God. They understand that sin is a grievous sin against God.

In essence, salvation leads to a radical change of mind. This change of mind leads to a subsequent change of life.

2 Corinthians 7:10 (NKJV) – “For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.”
