The conservative news site WND has persistently questioned the public statements of Obama administration officials regarding the terrorist attack on the diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya.
Last month a WND headline asked the question, "Hillary perjured herself on Benghazi?" This week a news story by Reuters raises more questions about the role of arms smuggling and may fuel more allegations that Hillary may have perjured herself when she was being questioned by Senator Rand Paul.
In January Paul asked the question, "Is the U.S. involved with any procuring of weapons, buying, selling, anyhow transferring weapons to Turkey out of Libya?" Clinton responded that she had never been asked a question about this. Later she responded with "I do not know. I do not have any information on that." (The video is below.)
Reuters interviewed former Libyan commander Abdul Basit Haroun and reported, "He says he sends aid and weapons to help Syrians achieve the freedom he fought for during the Libyan revolution."
According to WND, its informants report that slain U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens recruited and armed opponents of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad.
