Dear Jehovah’s Witnesses,
First I want to thank you – all of you for the important work that you do, sharing the Gospel with people who need to hear it; all people of all walks of life need to hear the Gospel actually. It’s a great thing to share God with others and a responsibility we all share. It takes time and dedication to do this, and a strong conviction to share knowing many will slam the door in our faces.
I recently received a letter from a Jehovah’s Witness that basically mentioned how many people are concerned with the direction the world is heading in. The cure for this direction of course is God, as God is the cure for all that ails humanity – the cause is Satan and of course our own sin.
This letter got me to thinking, thinking that I would write a letter in return to this individual. Why would I do this? Because I care, and I am familiar with the beliefs of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, and these beliefs very much concern me. FULL POST

I recently read an article on Fox News: Clinton acknowledges hard work ahead, frustrated by America’s ‘caricature’ of her. Oh really? As usual it’s all about Hillary, no surprise there. Also not surprising is Hillary’s none-ability to tell the truth, why would we expect anything less?
Hillary has shown herself to be a consummate liar and a world-class criminal and therefore should not be allowed to run for dogcatcher let alone president of the United States. The email scandal alone should have been enough to disqualify Hillary from running for president. Charges should have been filed but Hillary again got away with wrongdoing.

Some friends are with us a long time
Others are part of our lives but a short time
Passing through leaving an indelible mark upon us
Cherish your friends and hold them close
We never know when a friend will pass from this life
Take time to let a friend know you love them
Take time to let them know you appreciate them
Tomorrow they may not be here
Tomorrow you may not be here
Friends are like gold, only better
Friends, true friends are hard to come by
They are to be cherished and enjoyed
A true friend will support you even when you are wrong
They may not agree with you…but they will not run away either
A true friend will tell you when you are wrong as well
True friends do not gossip, they do not bite you
A true friend has your back
Yes true friends are hard to come by
Be a true friend…warm someone’s heart
Support them when they need it
Be quite and present when they need that
Love them at all times…love them more when they are struggling FULL POST

It’s funny how many will grasp at straws and see reason in illogical thought processes. People will believe outright lies and falsehood rather than believe the truth. Anything that lets a person hold on to the belief that there is no God – many will embrace and defend these beliefs even with undeniable proof that these beliefs are incorrect. Atheism is a prime example of this.
Creation itself and the things that reside within said creation fairly scream; there is a God! I have even heard it said that intelligent design does not necessarily reflect that God is responsible for said design. Really now, who then is? No human could have designed Creation let alone the things in it – like humans.
Creation VS the Big Bang Theory
“Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing, spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist.”

When you think of the United States, and the gravest danger we face as a country and a people, what or whom comes to mind? ISIS, or maybe Iran or North Korea – since they all threaten to wipe the great Satan off the face off the Earth? Maybe it’s Russian aggression or the supposed climate change? Is it possibly the notion of Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump at the helm – our failing economy? All well-founded reasons for concern with the exception of climate change which is a farce.
In this writers opinion the gravest danger to the U.S. comes from within the U.S., worse still, this threat occupies the Oval Office – Barack Obama. His use of Executive Orders and the much lesser known Executive Memorandum, (which carry the full force and effect of law) have been used to further Obama’s own agenda. FULL POST

If you have ever been through a serious trial in your life or experienced a deeply painful loss then you can understand how difficult it can be to heal from these experiences.
Depending on what happened and how long it lasted…these things can be very destructive and damaging to you and your walk with Christ. Some examples would be: a serious illness, the loss of a loved one especially a spouse, parent, or child, a divorce or the end of a serious relationship/friendship, a job/career loss, or loss of your home to name a few.
Do these questions sound familiar to you?
What did I do to deserve this?
Where are You in all of this God?
While we all want to know why (well I did!) something happened, why is not always the best question, in fact it is for sure not the best one. Instead of wasting time asking why, instead ask, “how can I fix this?” and “what do You want me to learn from this Lord?”
Everyone needs time to experience grief and to work through it, attempting to sweep it under the rug will not help anything and in fact will make it harder to deal with. Rest assured you will at some point be faced with the need to deal with your pain/loss…better to do so now. FULL POST

Lord Lead Us
Where does your heart live – do you live for now, or the future? Or are you caught up in yesterday? Where we live is not so important as how we live – where our hearts reside.
It is so easy in this fast paced world to get caught up the rush of life losing what the reality of our lives should be.
Lord lead us back to You.
The day starts with good intentions and becomes over-whelmed with busy. Work intrudes its ugly head with that ‘gotta get it done’ problem. The car broke down – our child is in trouble – the furnace just died.
Lord lead us back to You.
We mean to read the Bible but just don’t get to it. We mean to pray – pray for that one person that really needs it – for our country, but prayer gets forgotten in the ‘to do list’.
Lord lead us back to You.
Let us resolve to make today different – today let us take that time – time to read the Word of God. Let us take the time to pray, not only for others, as we should – but to thank the Lord for His goodness towards us. FULL POST

Bruce Springsteen recently cancelled a concert at Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina in support of the LGBT folks, more specifically the transgenders. North Carolina enacted a bill called the Public Facilities Privacy and Security Act; basically the bill’s stated intention is for males to use the men’s room, and females to use the women’s room — pretty straightforward, right? Not according to The Boss. The Public Facilities Privacy and Security Act, or HB2, infringes on the rights of transgenders to use any bathroom facility they feel comfortable in.
HB2 was in response to the Charlotte municipal ordinance that allowed transgender individuals to use any restroom regardless of their birth sex. In other words, a transgender male could use a women’s restroom. This supposed right for transgender people opens up a huge can of worms that nothing good will come from.
There are, in many places, single-occupancy rest rooms; these rest rooms can be used by anyone. A transgender person could use one of these and at the same time no one of the opposite sex would be endangered or have their privacy invaded by a member of the opposite sex. FULL POST

According to Hillary Clinton, “the unborn person doesn’t have constitutional rights.” Bernie Sanders echoes that sentiment: “I don’t believe there’s any constitutional protection for the unborn.”
This writer thinks the above comments display a serious lack of common sense. No the U.S. Constitution does not say unborn children have rights; it also does not say that they do not!
Hillary surprisingly admitted that an unborn baby is a person, however that person has no rights under the Constitution; the unspoken part of that thought is therefore it is perfectly acceptable to kill them. Hillary has always been an ardent supporter of abortion so her attitude is no surprise at all. FULL POST

I am firmly against abortion, therefore when I read this headline I was angry, among other things – like sickened, disgusted, and outraged:
In the first place all life is sacred and that includes the unborn child. There should be no differentiation between a human baby that is outside the mother’s womb and the human baby that is inside the mother’s womb.
In this particular case according to the article: medical tests suggested that the baby had Down syndrome. Suggested? In other words they may not even have been positive of this but the woman still made the decision to end her baby’s life. Because of Down syndrome? Who would not prefer a normal healthy baby, but to kill a baby over this is inexcusable. FULL POST
