Jesus IS God
In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit does indeed come upon the disciples and they begin to speak in other tongues. In the crowd of Jews that heard these men speak were Jews “of every nation under heaven”, and they did hear what was spoken in their own tongue, despite the disciples all being Galilaeans. When the Apostle Peter addressed the crowd speaking of Jesus whom the Jews had crucified, and God had raised up – some asked what they should do. Peter told them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins – and 3000 were added to those who worship the Lord.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
This is a pretty obvious declaration by Jesus that He is in fact God. God the Father will send the Holy Spirit in His name to remind everyone of Jesus teaching – how much clearer can it get? FULL POST

This is part one of a two part series
The question of Jesus divinity or lack thereof has been around since Jesus Himself walked the earth. Jesus own people the Jews largely disbelieved in Christ’s claims to not only be from God – but to actually be God. Yes as a matter of fact, Jesus did claim to be God and not only the Son of God.
The Birth of Jesus
Jesus birth alone should signify that He is significant and different from all others including the Prophets and Moses as well. Normally the creation of a human being requires the sexual interaction of a man and a woman, such was not the case with the birth of Christ. In Matthew 1:20 the angel of the Lord appears to Joseph in a dream and tells him, “for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost”. So Jesus although being human was conceived by the power of God in Mary.
Many are those who do not believe in Jesus but in only the Father; there are also those who do not believe and do deny the birth of our Lord was in way special or that it was foretold in the Old Testament. Isaiah plainly speaks of Christ in Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Even the very city of Christ’s birth was foretold in the Old Testament, to whit:
Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. FULL POST

I have long begun to wonder what is wrong with America, more to the point what is wrong with so many of her people. America (as a whole) not only voted in Obama as president of these great states, but also then proceeded to do so again.
Now there seems to be a rush to delve into chaos once more while people line up in droves to vote for the great one – Donald Trump. Even Democrats are switching sides to vote for Trump and that is not a particularly comforting thought. It is a given that many readers support Trump, why I ask – what is so great about him? Do Trump supporters not see past the rhetoric and the appealing way (sometimes) that Donald speaks; to see the incompetence, the narcissism, the duplicity, and the inability to articulate how Trump is going to do what he says he will?
The Trump campaign is itself descending into chaos – all the while Trump refuses to accept any blame whatsoever for what is happening. The planned Donald Trump rally in Chicago had to be cancelled at the last minute do to violence and unrest erupting at the venue.
