Mike Leake, associate pastor of First Baptist Church in Jasper, Indiana, is challenging parents to spend the month of October praying for their sons.

This prayer campaign is organized on Leake's blog and anyone may participate. Each day in October Leake will publish a specific idea for prayer. Today Leake wrote, "The greatest thing that we can pray for our sons is that they will be eternally satisfied in God."

The Bible verse for today is found in Psalm 16:11 which says, "You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore."

In August Leake organized a Facebook group to help husbands pray for their wives.
