Today the Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke turned 59 years old. Bernanke is a hero to Keynesian economists and a villian to Austrian economists.

Peter Schiff, head of Euro Pacific Capital, provides a dissenting opinion at the Atlantic Economy Summit.

In the next few weeks the "fiscal cliff" controversy will continue to dominate the news. We can pray for the key decision makers involved in this conflict and other economic policy makers.

Prayer List:

1. Pray for Ben Bernanke and the Federal Reserve to make wise decisions that will not inflict harm to the economy and will encourage job growth and reduction in the national debt.
2. Pray for the motives of Congressmen and President Obama to be exposed as they negotiate in order to weaken attempts to manipulate the negotiations for political purposes.
3. Pray for unemployed Americans to find work and for small business owners struggling to overcome financial difficulties.
4. Pray for Americans overextended with credit card debt, housing mortgages and student loans to make the right decisions and to reduce their debts.
