North Korea is making threats again.
KCNA, the North Korean government-controlled news agency reported, "The moment of explosion is approaching fast. No one can say a war will break out in Korea or not and whether it will break out today or tomorrow."
According to The London Telegraph, Prime Minister David Cameron stated in a speech, "The fact is, as I wrote in a newspaper article this morning, North Korea does now have missile technology that is able to reach, as they put it, the whole of the United States and if they’re able to reach the whole of the United States they can reach Europe too. They can reach us too, so that is a real concern."
American military forces are not remaining idle. The Guardian has reported that the American military is moving a sophisticated missle defense system to Guam.
American intelligence officials are expecting North Korea to conduct a missle test soon, according to Fox News.
Recently Hyeonseo Lee told her story in a TED Talk about growing up in North Korea. Hyeonseo saw a public execution when she was 7 years old. She also describes the starvation in her country and fleeing to China.
Hyeonseo said, "Everything around me was completely dark at night, except for the sea of lights in China just across the river from my home. I always wondered why they had light and we didn't."
Join me in praying for the people of North Korea to experience the light of Jesus Christ.
- Pray for North Korea's Communist leaders to recognize the harm caused by their policies.
- Pray for people starving to obtain food.
- Pray for the Gospel to change hearts throughout the country.
