Today is Christian singer Steven Curtis Chapman's 50th birthday. Chapman has received five Grammy awards during his music career and recorded more than 20 albums, reports Wikipedia.

Chapman and his wife Mary Beth have adopted three girls from China.

Join me in praying today for Chapman's family and others working in the Christian music industry to live holy lives and to avoid the temptations that come with celebrity.

This month is National Adoption Month. Also pray for foster parents, foster children, adoptive parents and and adopted children. Pray for these children to have a stable childhood and for their parents to be godly role models.
