Call on Me

text size A A A

CALL ON ME. That is what God is saying to his people. The trial of Trayvon Martin is finally over. His parents endured each day of the trial only to hear an unbelievable verdict that left many reeling. OVER 74 people shot and 12 killed over July 4th weekend inChicago. The victims seem to be younger than ever before. Several rape cases in recent days. Children kidnapped and held hostages for years. Mothers are not just afraid to let their children out to play but cannot guarantee their safety even when they are with their children. There is no compassion and no value placed on life. Laws are being passed that not only are ungodly (same sex marriage) but do not make common sense (concealed weapons even in bars). What is this world coming to?

The police are searching for ways to combat rising crime waves and violence. The police, pastors and families are joining to march against violence. People are wondering whom can we turn to?

God is our refuge and strength, a present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah (Psalms 46:1-3)

Are you wondering what can I do? He shall call upon me and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him. (Psalms 91:15) And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me (Psalm 50:15)

Let us not lose hope in spite of the troubling times that we are living in. Let us not forget that this world belongs to God and we are his ambassadors. He has given us the power to bind and loose according to his word, his will and his power and it shall be as we say. HE GAVE US THE ASSIGNMENT: PRAY.

Many see prayer as a last resort. To the true intercessors, it is the only option. What can one person do? Elijah a mere human like us; prayed and it did not rain for three years. Call on me and I will answer. When you walk your neighborhood, ride in your car and throughout the day call on God. Plead the blood, which means you are reminding yourself and reminding Satan that there is power in the blood. Establish the bloodline around your home, block, neighborhood, school, building and churches. REMEMBER SATAN HAS NO POWER OVER THE BLOOD. DEATH AND DESTRUCTION MUST PASS OVER THE BLOOD.

Even as it was when the people of God marched around the Jericho wall so it is now if you believe. Do not be discouraged about what you see. Remember they did not see anything happening as they began to march around the wall. The just SHALL LIVE BY FAITH. Decree and declare the word of God, secure the protection of God, defy the enemy that comes against the word of God. Speak aloud that thine O Lord is the greatness, claim your terrority and stand your ground.

SPEAK THE ANSWER AND NOT THE PROBLEM. THE ANSWER IS IN THE WORD OF GOD. Heavenly father, thine is the kingdom we pray your will be done and your kingdom come. Thank you for the shed blood of your son Jesus that protects delivers, rescues and saves us. We call upon you and ask for wisdom, knowledge, skill, understanding, and your fear to rest upon us. Give us strategies against the enemy. Speak wisdom to those in authority, the police, CIA, FBI, law enforcement, legislators that they may know what and how to combat crime. Show us the hidden plans and agenda of the enemy.

We use the authority given to us to send confusion to his camp. Teach us how to use the weapons you have given us to smash his plans, cancel his assignment against your people, raise the standard of holiness against him and reverse his plans. You are Jehovah Missi our captain and we look to you to give us our marching orders against the enemy.

We petition you for warring angels to combat the evil, demonic spirits of anger, violence, rape and hate. We release the spirit of love, compassion, hope and the fear of God upon people everywhere. Let the violent man forsake violence, the thief steal no more. We call upon you to transform the minds of the people, take out the stony heart and give them a heart that will seek you. Give the unbeliever a blood transfusion that will make them new creations in you.

We decree safety and protection home-by-home, block-by-block, neighborhood by neighborhood, cities and suburbs by the authority of your word and the power of your blood. Stand up in your people and let them rise up against the enemy. We bind the spirit of helplessness and loose the spirit of hope as we dare to trust you and stand on your word.

We send the word of hope to Trayvon Martin’s family and every family that has had to endure the death of love one and sit through a trial. Give them strength and courage to hold on to your hand. Be the wind beneath their wings; give them peace that passeth understanding and joy unspeakable even in the face of sorrow. GOD YOU STILL REIGN. We say that you are our God and Jehovah Nissi our banner, you reign with all power and righteousness. There is power in your name to break every chain, we are safe in the secret place, we lay down and sleep in peace for you sustain us.

I challenge every intercessor to begin to pray this prayer aloud as you walk in your neighborhood, drive around the schools, speak it as you drive by the street corners, declare and release it into the atmosphere and see if God will not answer you.
