Donald Trump President-Elect? What Now?

text size A A A

1st Samuel 8:19 Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us;

Let me make it perfectly clear that it is my opinion that Donald Trump Should Not Be President. He is racist. He is sexist.He has no experience in government. He has No experience in military strategies and little regard for those who have served,.disregard for the law when he it goes against what he considers to be violence but he advocates violence. Wonder why hate groups are attracted to him? He is self-absorbed. He right. He lacks compassion. He has no regard for the poor,sick, or disabled.Not only does he attractsis egotist.

I personally think the only reason he ran for President was to get back at President Obama for humiliating him at the White House Correspondent dinner. Why is he so focused on destroying the legacy of President Barack Obama? https://youtu.be/k8TwRmX6zs4. Advocates during away with Geneva Convention, and possibly NATO.He has been inconsistent about his stance on many issues http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/full-list-donald-trump-s-rapidly-changing-policy-positions-n547801 He has lack of emotional control and is temperamental.

It is significant to note that Five (former and sitting) Presidents of the United States chose not vote for him. George H W Bush and George W Bush,Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. Never before in the history of the U.S. have their been protests across the country against the President elect. People are fearful and anxious about what this Presidency means for them.

Donald Trump is President elect. Now What?. The fact is that he won. Like it or not he won. NOW WHAT DO WE D?. Be sure of this, God is not surprised. He is not sitting in heaven scratching his head saying “what happen”. God is and will always be in control. NOW WHAT DO WE DO? We do what we are Mandated to do.

What is that? 2nd Timothy 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. 8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

So you don’t like him, don’t agree with his politics etc. God’s word says: Pray for kings and all that are in authority. Why? That we may live a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and honesty. And this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior. What are we praying for. Who will have all men to be SAVED AND TO COME UNTO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH. How do we pray? Lifting up holy hands without wrath and doubting. My God is awesome. The answer is always in his word. He gives us instructions for every situation or circumstance that we will encounter.

SPEAK THE ANSWER NOT THE PROBLEM. THE ANSWER IS THE WORD OF GOD. Heavenly father we thank you for your infinite wisdom and divine instructions. We pray that the Blood of your son Jesus will continue to cover our nation. We are so grateful that you alone are in control and you hold the world in your hands. There is nothing that can take place that you do not already know about. Show us how to pray for the President-elect Donald Trump that it may be well with us. We are reminded that righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.

We pray that Donald Trump will come to know you as lord and savior. He will embrace truth and knowledge of you. Draw him to you that he may learn to hear your voice and seek your face. There is safety in the multitude of counselors so we pray that he will be surrounded by the right people who knows how to listen for your voice and will not be afraid to speak truth in his ears. We pray for wisdom in every area and that he is not quick to act but seek wise counsel. We pray that he will seek to establish peace and not war. We pray that you give him a heart of compassion and understanding of the needs of the people and act accordingly.

We pray that he uses his financial knowledge to the good of the people in solving financial issues. We pray that he is concerned about the state of the working poor, economics, job security, living conditions and the need to establish training programs for all people. We pray that he is sensitive to the needs of those who need medical care, social security and other issues that affect the quality of life. We are so grateful that the king’s heart is in your hands and you are able to turn it in the direction you would have it to be.

We pray that people everywhere will begin to pray and to cry out to you and all the world shall recognize that it matters not who the president is but who is King of King and Lord of lords. We do not depend on man but our eyes are focused on you and our trust is in you. Therefore we are able to declare that all is well because All Power Belongs To You and for this we say Thank You God.
