“The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.” (Eze 18: 20)
While I have several theological degrees I depend only on the basic instincts of my childhood to interpret this verse. In all of its lucid and obvious meaning it says only one thing.
Your sins are your sins, and my sins are my sins.
If you’re getting anything else from this passage you must be laboring under the PC cloud of vague subjectivism that cripples and troubles this present generation.
I never owned nor wanted to own a slave and my conscience is clear.
There remain some 1500 statues of confederate figures throughout the United States; I cannot trouble myself about any of them. They are historical markers of a troubled time, but they are not a call to bring the trouble back, that is the purpose of those involved in the great American guilt industry where polarizing people into various camps is a daily routine. The show of hostility and hatred in Charlottesville, Virginia - is proof of that. FULL POST

America seems caught up in the promotion of minorities such as the LGBT and leftist causes, but tolerance and diversity has stalled and has begun to roll backwards down the hill to its own demise.
Shortly after the Charlottesville protests, Facebook, that bastion of balance, which is now pounding away at conservative materials in a so called cleanup, allowed a call for protesters to come out to Trump Towers and spew hatred.
In a grossly hypocritical, incongruous and typically contradictory leftist style approach to politics protesters were found carrying placards and chanting "New York hates you" and "love, not hate -- that's what makes America great."

When Christ addressed the first seven churches in Asia he rebuked five, on one he was neutral, but he commended only one. If the first century church was already leaning toward apostasy, where will these last day’s churches be found?
The great falling away is referenced several times in scripture, but those with a world view are not guided by the Bible, nor do they believe in the prophetic aspects of this great God breathed book. As a result, they are the crowds that go about fulfilling prophecy while they reject it or deny it.
Not a day passes without a new report of some old historic church or denomination sinking to accommodate the new liberal theology of the day. Charisma News recently reported on a list of eight well known ministers and evangelical leaders that have decided to join in with the perversions of the LGBT crowd. The piece entitled “8 Evangelical Leaders Who Have Publicly Embraced Apostasy” also said, that the former pastor of the Mars Hill church, Rob Bell, contends that old line conservative churches will soon be a thing of the past. Being labeled and dismissed as a “homophobe” may be all it takes for some to turn their back on the biblical message about homosexuality and other immorality. But true disciples and conservative Bible believers will go to the end of time without yielding one iota for today’s social engineering plotters who have decided that anything goes should be legalized, streamlined and put up in our faces.
If we try to explain the difference between pre, mid and post exilic prophecies of ancient Israel, or if we try to elucidate the powerful differences between Messianic and pre-millennial prophecies having to do with Christ, some will understand – most will not.
We have to treat society like a child in order to provoke a ripple of recognition among them – only the most general prophecies can hope to speak to the subject of the promised last days plunge into worldwide immorality and reprobation. FULL POST

Some would argue that revival is for the church and renewal is for the nation, semantics notwithstanding, it is clear that a new strong message is being issued across our nation for a return to our foundations, and the faith of our fathers.
It is being issued through the preachers, messengers, writers and musicians with a renewed fervor, boldness and a sense of purpose not seen in this last generation. It is the very fulfillment of God’s promise to pour himself out just before he intervenes once again in the affairs of men.
It is a guarantee given to all messengers many years before these days.
“Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?” (Amos 3: 7-8)
It is a call to all people to be issued in the very last days.
“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.” (Joel 2: 28-29) FULL POST

Morgan Freeman is credited for saying, “all that it takes to make men stop thinking are the words – “scientist have discovered.”
While Freeman is correct, that day is long past. Now scientist can make great swelling statements about almost anything that is accepted without question. Having long since left behind the true definition of science they have entered a kind of authoritarianism that no one would dare doubt.
They no longer need to discover anything; they can make declarations without research, substance, and in some cases with no empirical means to prove anything.
Heretofore, empiricism was defined only by repeatable observable and controlled phenomena and subsequent gathering of data. Today you can say anything, if you are lettered, by a reasonably respected university and have published.
While examples are plenteous some at the top of the list beg to be scrutinized.

With a long heritage of Spanish, French and other influences New Orleans has a unique place in the history of the nation. With streets named Tchoupitoulas, Melpomene and Terpsichore, foods like the Po-Boy, muffulettas and café – ole and beignet’s, who would doubt that you are in an unusual city when you set foot in the famed - “Crescent City”
On May 19, 2017 Mayor Mitchell J. Landrieu was giving speeches which declared that statues of Gen. Beauregard and Gen Robert E. Lee were nothing but a “nuisance” and by removing them New Orleans would then come into the great twenty first century cities which are now more diverse and friendly to all. As he spoke, in another part of the city a crowd of 400 people stood by and watched the 8,000 pound statue of Lee, which stood in in the city’s “Lee Circle” for 133 years, being hoisted up hauled away like so much junkyard refuse. After centuries, the hordes that sit and swoon to the classicality of Shakespeare are yet unaware that William the bard of bards was woefully mistaken.
“Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more: it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Like everything else in this waning world of woe it is the one event called, the resurrection of Christ, which stops the flywheel of time and sends it in the other direction. Now it is death that is the poor player who struts and frets for his brief hour of time.
Death will be heard no more, the tale told by an enemy of God, a deceiver, an idiot, who thinks that his fury can forever cause men and angels to cower, fear, flee or fall into an unknown dark and foreboding eternal blackness. FULL POST

By now millions have viewed the ad campaign which depicts two girls kissing at a sports arena while the crowd cheers as they watch on the stadium big screen.
They also watched the ad that shows two men holding and caressing the little boy raised by two homosexuals.
Then along comes the ad with the big tough guy sauntering down the street equating skin color, race and transgenders and homosexuals as all worthy of the love of real patriots. While there is not a real Christian that would not love all of them, two things are missing in this left wing slop.
First, we are commanded to love all sinners, but we can never say their sin is just perfectly normal. Second, is the fact that race and homosexuality are as far apart - as the east is from the west. FULL POST

The most prevalent absurdity in modern America is the fact that we have blocked the entrance of 60 million of our own offspring due to Roe v. Wade, while we insist that those who pour across our borders illegally have a perfect right to be here.
Nothing lends itself to the definition of pure hypocrisy more than watching parades of protesters carrying signs, including some that say – “No human being is illegal.”
In the recent nomination hearings of Appeals Court Judge Neil Gorsuch, Senator Dick Durbin asked Gorsuch to explain how he could reconcile his belief that all human life is intrinsically valuable with the ruling of Roe v. Wade? His answer, although it may have been forced upon him, was the same as millions of Americans who are holding on to and fighting tooth, nail and claw to keep Roe on the books at all costs.
He replied – “Abortion is different because the unborn are not legally recognized as people.”
Even in America where snowflakes and Supreme Court nominees can mouth the greatest absurdities with complete impunity, this answer defies every standard and any hope of sane protocol when addressing the cry that – “no humans are illegal.” FULL POST
