How the Gospel is Shared on Twitter

text size A A A

I came across some interesting examples of Christians witnessing on Twitter and wanted to share them.

Global Media Outreach often asks questions about spiritual matters and provides a link to a relevant article on the topic.

Here are several examples:

On December 11th GMO posted a series of tweets about suffering.

"Why does God allow struggling in our lives? Do you ever find yourself wondering "Where is God?"

Another way that GMO engages its audience is by posting a "definition of the day."

Forgiveness is a common topic of GMO tweets.

Has your church or ministry website ever posted a quiz asking questions of spiritual significance?

Christian Worldviews tweets a question: "Need God? Take A Test." A curious person might click on the link to take an eight question test that determines: "Are you a good person according to God's standards? And if so, are you good enough to go to heaven?"

Living Waters Publications set up the Need God website to show people that they are sinners that need a Savior.

Another way people share the Gospel on Twitter is by tweeting Bible verses. A popular hashtag on Twitter is #favoritebibleverse. In this example Michael Jones quotes the verse Romans 8:1.

If you know of unique examples of witnessing on Twitter, please let us know about them in the comments below.
