A Simple Solution to Restoring the "Disappearing Black Community"

text size A A A

Truth. That's it. If the black community—its leaders and people of influence—would accept the fact that the liberalism they have so passionately embraced for the past half century has been more devastating than anything the Ku Klux Klan could ever had imagined. In fact, the legislative agendas and public policies of the Democratic Party have virtually rendered the Klan obsolete! This is in light of the March 11 town hall meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to discuss the matter of "The Disappearing Black Community and How We Can Get It Back."

I submit two key factors that support such a politically-incorrect position, because according to the current main stream media and the black elite that depends upon them, meetings and gatherings, they  are the only ones qualified to address black issues. However, if even the most unsophisticated mind were to merely examine the history and the empirical evidence, one could only conclude that something is hideously wrong.

The first issue involves the destructive nature of the liberal ideology and its effects upon the black community. If you were to look at Americas most devastated communities—the inner city—the historical evidence shows that the city will have had a long and extensive reign of liberal Democrat Party influence and policy, with the primary theme of government dependency! Looking at the graphic, it is obvious that there is a connection between the policies and the outcomes.

Within our top ten cities in America, we see the devastating long term effects of Democratic Party policies. Living below the poverty level has become a way of life for millions of individuals—a form of enslavement within itself!

Obviously, this creates a strong reservoir of voters, forever dependent upon whatever the political class promises or throws out. Having emblazoned into their minds that the conservative politician is the source of their miseries, the liberals are confidently assured that the inner city poor is forever theirs to manipulate as they please.

The second issue is also the result of liberal Democratic Party influences. If the black community is disappearing, it is certainly being accelerated by the millions of babies being aborted each year. On average, 1,876 black babies are aborted on a daily basis—reflective of the Alan Guttmacher Institute's finding that a black woman is more than 5 times as likely as white women to have an abortion.

As the population of blacks dwindle, they are being replaced primarily by the upsurge of the Hispanic groups through childbirth and immigration!

According to the Life Education and Resource Network (L.E.A.R.N.), spells the tragic dilemma in this manner:

"This incidence of abortion has resulted in a tremendous loss of life. It has been estimated that since 1973 Black women have had about 16 million abortions. Michael Novak had calculated 'Since the number of current living Blacks (in the U.S.) is 36 million, the missing 16 million represents an enormous loss, for without abortion, America's Black community would now number 52 million persons. It would be 36 percent larger than it is. Abortion has swept through the Black community like a scythe, cutting down every fourth member.'"

By the summer of 2003, the U.S. Census Bureau announced that the Hispanic population had eclipsed the African American population and had become the largest minority group in America. There were 38.8 million Hispanics by then, with the African American population continuously hovering slightly above the 36 million mark—valid proof that the efforts of white racists like Margaret Sanger and liberal elites like W.E.B. DuBois (and now James Clyburn and the Congressional Black Caucus) have been very effective in black population control under the disguise of "a woman's right to choose." It is no wonder that so many African Americans simply follow the liberal script and obediently carry out practically every line, from chanting the mantra "no justice, no peace" to entering the abortion clinic to kill its young. For certain it can be said that the most dangerous place for black Americans is not the Klan, AIDS, violence nor even drug abuse—but the mother's womb!

The third and final factor is this: the event itself has an element of distraction by taking the focus off of the real cause for the black dilemma. It would be quite remarkable if Farrakhan were to rebuke Rep. Clyburn, and take him and other black political leaders to task for such abominable acts and policies. Expect the same. None would allow themselves to think outside of the black liberal box. They could have saved themselves the costs of travel and logistical arrangements for this town meeting. Expect them to blame racist America for the disappearance of the black community and infrastructure. They would not dare face the truth. Besides, to blame others has been extremely profitable—why stop now?
