On CNN's "The Situation Room" with host Wolf Blitzer, Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain said that the reason most blacks have such a negative view of the Republican Party is because about two-thirds of them have been brainwashed.

I can attest that Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain, who happens to be an African American, is absolutely right in his diagnosis that the vast majority of African Americans have been brainwashed into a blind following the Democratic Party. Known in the business world as the former CEO of Godfather's Pizza and other key positions in finance, Herman Cain is also an associate minister at the Antioch Baptist Church North in Atlanta, Georgia. In spite of his unpopular positions in the socio-political world, he has not been swayed in his faith nor his mission, obviously including the bringing of a new message to a battle-weary civil rights movement that was blinded and led by opportunistic leaders with the proverbial "carrot on the stick" strategy. Is There A Conflict Between The Bible and Science?

Although many may seek to place at odds, science and the Bible, a focused study reveals that in many cases, God instructed the Israelites in manners of behavior that no other cultures of that day even imagined!

Dr. Martin Luther King's Lesson On Civil Disobedience

In Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King's "Letter From A Birmingham Jail" comes a lesson for us as Christians on how we are duty-bound to stand for righteousness and justice instead of allowing evil to prevail. Just as Dr. King challenged the culture of racial hatred in his day, so must we apply these same basic principles of righteousness today. In our case, it is unjust for men to be forbidden to exercise the God-given liberty to pray or freely exercise their expression of faith even in the public square. We are seeing an increasing resistance to the presence of our Judeo-Christian culture as our public servants exercise their powers to restrict if not eliminate all together the individual's right to pray, display or even mention any references to Jesus or Christianity in general. Groups seeking to remove public displays of crosses, Bibles and replicas of the Ten Commandments, government administrators seeking to regulate prayer and religious activities even at our Veterans National Cemeteries and the general public ridicule and portrayal of Christians as being psychologically impaired and unintelligent are some of what we face. Congressional Black Caucus Following Their Master's Queue

I am a proud participant in and supporter of the TEA Party movement. I am an American who happens to be black, and appreciates the freedom we often takes for granted. In fact, freedom for me has a deeper meaning as I pay tribute to my own ancestors who endured great adversity as we and America itself eventually overcame a dark and evil time in its history. Ultimately, the greatest sense of freedom any human could experience comes through the perfect work of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ! It is by this freedom attainable only through the rebirth experience made possible through Him that empowers me to speak in this manner concerning this issue. I stand firm and fast in the liberty transformed into reality through Him and him alone—not waiting for neither government, charismatic leader, legislative body nor any other power of this world to grant or give what God has already made possible!

For these reasons, I am appalled (but not surprised) that the Congressional Black Caucus could dare come forth with such vicious and slanderous vitriol against a group that I am convinced they know very little about. However, I know exactly why the CBC has launched its campaign of false accusations, and when I explain this to you, the pattern will be easily recognizable practically each time you see Reps. Maxine Waters,  Andre Carson or any other far left of this organization spew such inflammatory rhetoric. FULL POST

Creating A Utopian World

The primary goal of The New Left is to go forward in pushing the United States towards a utopian society- a world without God, where citizens are provided for and controlled by a political class of elites. The execution of this goal includes the restructuring of these five areas of influence in American life.

President Obama came into the Illinois state legislature as a member of a group of leftists called the "New Party." This is an off-shoot of the "New Left," which is a part of the Democratic Socialists of America organization, which is closely-tied to the Progressive Caucus in our U.S. Congress. The New Left believes that the current Democratic Party has taken the country as far as it could, and it is time for them to take it the rest of the way- utopia- a world without God that is governed by an eilte group of iltellectuals! If one would look at his administration and its current path of class warfare and race-baiting,  President Obama has shown every sign in fulfilling this agenda and more! Five primary areas were targeted:

(1) Gain control of the major corporations and private businesses and disperse them throughout the world, especially to the 3rd world. Encouraging or even forcing businesses to relocate in areas and regions where they would normally not invest is just as much a part of the utopianist aganda as any other scheme of global governance or Marxist strategy. The acquisition and control of General Motors is a perfect example of how government can influence and control of business. The National Labor Relations Board's attack against the Boeing Corporation for attempting to move some of its production facilities from a highly-unionized state to an non-union state sends a chilling threat to those who recognize that freedom is in jeapordy.

(2) Eliminate the military (including NASA) and create a world fighting force governed by the United Nations. Funding would be redirected to the social justice agenda. The Left sees the military as being a major reason the social welfare state cannot achieve its state of "fair and equal distribution" because of the hundreds of billions of dollars spent on it. To turn America's military and ultimate safety over to the United Nations would free those billions  for "redistributive justice" purposes. Even the recent shutdown of the space shuttle program and much of NASA's future is not a cost-saving measure, but an eventual redirection of financial resources towards the establishment of utopia.

(3) Strengthen the federal and state regulatory agencies such as the EPA, FCC, etc., and regulations such as the Endangered Species Act in order to exercise greater control over private business and individual activities. These and other agencies are capable of enacting unbearable rules and regulations upon the American people without the input of Congress, the judiciary and in some cases, the executive branch. The snail-darter (Tennessee), Delta Smelt (California) and the Dunes Sagebrush Lizard (West Texas) are three examples of how the federal government can shut down industry for the sake of protecting certain species of animals and habitats. To add insult to injury, while placing a strangle hold on American oil drilling companies following the Deep Water Horizon oil well tragedy, the Obama administration has committed billions in loans to Petrobras- the deep sea well drilling company owned by Brazil- to drill and develop its own oil fields!

(4) Eliminate traditional gender roles in the families in order to promote same-sex marriages, families and all aspects of the homosexual agenda. Having directed Attorney General Eric Holder to no longer defend the Defence of Marriage Act (DOMA), President Obama and the left have made great headway in establishing homosexual marriage as an irreversible standard. the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" provision in the military has been all but gutted and is now in the process of being removed. With the Obama administration's support and blessing, public school systems are now in the process of instituting pro-homosexual curricula as a method of indoctrination. Ultimately, the New Left Utopian Society sees their new world creation as a global society that supports non-gender specific roles.  FULL POST

Texas Constitution Already Refers Directly to God

The constitution of the state of Texas took effect on February 15, 1876. Its preamble says, "Humbly invoking the blessings of Almighty God, the people of the State of Texas, do ordain and establish this Constitution." We can certainly say that this preamble, which is just as much a part of the constitution's main body as the articles are, reflect the faithful thought of its leaders and its citizenry.

In other words, this constitution was constructed with the acknowledgment of not just a higher power, force, being or deity, but the One in whom they, and the majority of Texans today commonly believe is the God of the Bible—Jehovah. His is the One who, through grace and a love so marvelous, became flesh in the form of his perfect Son and was ultimately offered up to be the sinful sacrifice for every man, woman and child ever born in this world.

So I must ask that if this legal, governing document of the State of Texas acknowledges the existence of the One who we know to be and is called God, then how can our governor be made to disenfranchise himself from any event or exercise that seeks to do exactly what our preamble spells out? This constitution was not written at a gathering of individuals representing a denomination. They had assembled to lay down the framework for the governance of a state and its people! FULL POST

When Government Declares Good to Be Evil

America's past, present and future success cannot be separated from basic human rights such as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Prayer has always been an expression of goodness amongst any people.

It is an indisputable fact that the government of the United States of America is a unique exercise of individual freedom and personal responsibility, while simultaneously reflecting the e pluribus unum (out of many, one) creed. Our enemies may look at this great melting pot as a boiling cauldron of disunity, confusion and weakness, and even seek to exploit what they see as opportunity, but when attacked or woefully offended, they become subject to a unified force of unbridled might and fury!

What makes our government so unique is that the founders and framers of our Constitution and laws wrote them in the context of its citizenry being a moral people, rich in Biblical knowledge and practitioners of Judeo-Christian principles. In the 13th chapter of Romans, verses 3 and 5 provide a brief, but excellent in the purpose of our government and those we place in power through our election process ...

"For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same; 4 for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil." (NASB). FULL POST

Obama and Democrats Appeal to Worst Parts of Human Nature

According to the principles and actions of the Democratic Party today, the Biblical account of Jesus' parable of the talents was wrong. In Matthew 25:14-30, Jesus speaks of a rich man giving his three servants various sums of money to keep for him while he went away. Two of the servants used their portions to double their sums, but one did nothing. The first servant was given five pieces, and made another five, giving him ten. The second man had been given two pieces, and made another two, giving him four. But the third man was given one piece, but instead of using it to increase his sum, he hid it in the ground!

When the rich man returned, he was very pleased with the two who had increased their sums of money, but was utterly displeased with the one who merely buried his. When questioned by the proprietor, he simply made excuses, and for his slothfulness, his one piece of money was taken from him, and given to the one who now had ten, giving him a total of eleven. This is the fundamental principle of capitalism—hard and dedicated work and effort does have its rewards!

Unfortunately, the philosophy of the Democratic Party, the rich traveler would have scolded the two profiteers and taken money from the productive for redistribution. In the name of fairness, he would take five pieces from the one who had gained ten, and give one piece to the one with four, and four to the one who had buried his one—giving each of the servants five. Is this what Jesus intended? The truth to the matter is that what makes the Democratic Party so appealing to such a wide spectrum of people today is its appeal to the worst parts of human nature.
