Christian apologist Marsha West's mother had a unique proverb, "A mouse in the cookie jar is not a cookie!"
What could this proverb mean?
- The mouse is our enemy and is eating our food.
- Our enemy might be where we least expect it.
- We should be careful when we desire something sweet. The mouse (enemy) can bite us.
Marsha shares this proverb in her article Caught up in a cult?
